Norwood-Young America's Legacy Greenway Concept Plan Explained

The 2008 Norwood Young America Comprehensive Plan Update envisioned a greenway system linking five natural environment lakes within the area to existing parks, trails, and community gathering places. The 2010 Legacy Greenway Concept Plan builds on this vision by further defining the scope of a greenway system and providing a framework for how the community will proceed to carry out the project.

Essential to this Plan is the understanding an interconnected greenway will not be formed in the near term or in a singular effort, but rather assembled over a period of decades as new development occurs or property owners join the Legacy Greenway effort.
