Princeton Case Study: Rum River Recreation and Resources Board
Most communities understand the benefit of parks, trails and open space. Parks and trails help communities stay healthy. Open space helps maintain good water quality, good air quality, high-quality wildlife habitat and recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. A good parks, trails and open space network also provides considerable economic benefits to a community. With this in mind, the City of Princeton is attempting something that most communities do poorly: looking beyond their borders to think regionally, and not just locally, about parks, trails and open space.
